Please welcome Natasha Carter to the Green Me Locally family. We recently partnered with Natasha so she can help educate our audience about how we look at air conditioning and heating units. Most of us don’t realize that a large chunk of our residential energy bills go to cool and heat our homes. Stay tuned as Natasha will write on a variety of topics for our audience. Natasha Carter is Principal of Robert Nash & Associates, Manufacturer’s Rep for Spacepak, a leading manufacturer of small duct-high velocity (SDHV) central air conditioning and heating.
Natasha began her career in air conditioning in 2005 when she worked alongside Cheryl Harris, Executive Director of Florida Refrigeration Air Conditioning Contractors (FRACCA). Her focus on supporting the Florida air conditioning contractor began then and has continued throughout her career in SDHV.
Following her work with FRACCA, Natasha continued working with air conditioning contractors at the distribution level. It was during her relationship with R.E. Michel Company that she began learning about the critical differences between conventional heating ventilation air conditioning (HVAC) and SDHV and how those differences could be a real benefit to the Florida market.
Following her experience in distribution, Natasha began working as a manufacturer’s representative exclusively for Spacepak SDHV and has devoted her time and energy to the industry since 2007. Specializing in a hands-on approach, from education for the installer, to troubleshooting, to the commissioning of each installation, Robert Nash & Associates follows through on each project to ensure complete comfort for the home or business owner and profitability for the installer.
Natasha also serves as Client Development Manager for Innovative Service Solutions (ISS). ISS is an HVAC mechanical firm that specializes in the maintenance and service of mission critical air conditioning and heating systems for commercial, industrial, and healthcare businesses. By providing an analysis of current equipment performance, energy consumption, and indoor air quality, ISS is consistently able to help businesses get optimal performance from their existing HVAC systems, while saving money and reducing the building’s energy consumption.
Natasha is an approved instructor for continuing education units for air conditioning contractors through FRACCA. She also contributes industry content to the HVAC Insider Magazine and follows the latest developments in Florida Mechanical Code and how it affects the installer and the end user.
