The Hamilton Perkins Collection story is simple, yet our goals are profound. It all started with our founder’s desire for a unique and affordable travel bag. But it quickly evolved into a mission of doing good for the planet while helping people look great moving around it.
Humans have produced 9 billion tons of plastic, with only 9% of it being reclaimed. We’re proud to say that every bag we make consists of 17.5 recycled plastic bottles. Each bag also includes one yard of billboard vinyl for its interior lining – and a striking pop of color!
And, in collaboration with our fabric supplier, Thread, we’re making a difference economically in less developed nations by sourcing raw materials that divert plastic bottles and creating vital jobs in Haiti and Honduras.
Finally, and proudly, we have been certified as a “B Corporation” by B Lab, a leading non-profit in good business certifications. The certification means companies are found to meet the highest standards of performance, accountability and transparency.
