The goal of Shark-Con is to raise awareness for shark and ocean conservation (reefs, whales, manatees, etc.). The convention hopes to educate, entertain, and inform the general public about how important sharks and the ocean are to our world. Conservation groups, entertainers, artists, scientists, and vendors will come together to give those attending the conference a very special experience. The event will be over a weekend.

There will be many speakers throughout the two day event. Sylvia Earle, Oceanographer will be a featured guest.

Tara is the owner of Green Me Locally which was established in 2010 with a mission to bring awareness to the surrounding community about local eco-friendly businesses, events and sustainable living.
