Sunday, September 10th. 9:00am to 3:00pm in the Channel Islands Harbor.
South Harbor Blvd, West Channel Park, between Cabezone Circle and Barracuda Way, just south of the Farmers Market.
If you are interested in electric vehicles and would like to learn more about the cars, come down and check out a variety of electric vehicles on display. Talk to EV owners, and take a test drive in new models that are now available.
If you are an EV owner – register and bring your car to the event. Share your real life experience about driving an EV with others in your community. Vehicles on display will be current models among with some vintage cars, neighborhood vehicles, bikes and even watercraft.
The Best.Ride.EVer test-drive event is presented by Community Environmental Council, in partnership with Charge Across Town, CALSTART, and the national Plug-in Electric Vehicle Collaborative. Local EV dealers will also have the latest models on display and available for a ride and drive, which can get you behind the wheel to experience driving on electric.
At 11:00am, gather with us for a workshop on incentives that are currently available to new EV buyers, including the Federal EV tax credit, clean vehicle rebates from the State of California, and local incentives from Southern California Edison and the Ventura County Air Pollution Control District. The workshop will also highlight the financial and environmental advantages of driving an EVs, so be sure to attend!
