Welcome to National Drive Electric Week 2017, Amherst
You are invited to participate in two activities:
- 11:30 A.M. – 1:30 P.M.
Join EV owners and elected officials for a lunchtime screening of The Revenge of the Electric Car. Chris Paine’s brilliant documentary tells thedramatic story of dedicated individuals who fought to bring electric vehicles to the roadways of America. Bring your own lunch and we will provide snacks and iced herbal tea.
(Directions: Enter the main entrance of the Jones Library and use the stairway on the LEFT or elevator on the RIGHT to come up to the Amherst Room, on the second floor. Look for NDEW signs to guide you.)
- 2:00 P.M. – 4:00 P.M.
Speak with EV owners who will have their personal plug-in electric vehicles on display outside the Jones Library. This is an opportunity to see EVs that are in the marketplace right now and to learn first-hand about the joys and benefits of driving electric.
This event is free and open to the public. Register using the blue button at the top of this page and be entered to win a chance at a $250 gift card!
