Bilbrey Family Farm is small in size but mighty in production. We have a produce farm stand open to the public and also have a CSA (Community Supported Agriculture) located at 6488 Bilbrey Nursery Rd in Auburndale, Florida. We use organic growing methods and follow the USDA’s National Organic Program rules and regulations. What this means to our customers and CSA members is fresh, locally grown produce that is healthier and more nutritious because no harmful products were used in their production.
Our growing season runs from mid-0ctober to mid-June and consists of fall, winter and spring. Depending on the season, we grow a diverse variety of vegetables such as kale, spinach, Kohlrabi,Swiss chard, tomatoes, squash, lettuce, peppers, cucumbers, eggplant, carrots, cabbage, onions, broccoli and many more.
In springtime we have cantaloupe and watermelon.
Our CSA memberships are available as either weekly shares or every other week shares and paid upfront. We also have a payment plan with minimal service charge for weekly shares.
More detailed information and membership forms are available on our website http://www.bilbreyfamilyfarm.com and can also be picked up at our farm stand on either Friday, Saturday or Sunday (please see schedule of hours).
Farm tours can be scheduled for our CSA members at no cost.
