EcoPlanet Bamboo’s fiber provides an alternative raw resource to wood currently sourced from the harvesting of natural forests, reducing deforestation. Our multi faceted solution begins with the conversion of degraded and marginalized land into productive bamboo ecosystems that provide a long term and sustainable source of fiber.
EcoPlanet Bamboo has been recognized by a suite of entities from the United States Department of State, to the World Bank for the positive social and environmental impact of the company’s investment into sustainable bamboo plantations and associated manufacturing operations. Although doing good is a part of our culture, 3rd party certification ensures that the industrialization of bamboo occurs in a positive manner, both environmentally and socially. EcoPlanet Bamboo has pioneered the application of forestry and carbon certification to bamboo.
