Aloha, Little Hands Hawaii is a small local family that produces a mineral based sunscreen with our ocean and keiki in mind. Our products are reef safe and safe for everyone, especially our youngest keiki. We started 6 years ago, making it just for our own family. Well, it eventually spread to friends, and others. We have retail locations throughout the state of Hawaii, a few on the mainland and frequently ship orders internationally.
We are Hawaii’s original sunscreen company that’s been in business for almost 7 yrs, while there are 2 other locally made companies behind us. We have been working with the state legistlator of Hawaii to pass the bill to ban chemical sunscreen sales in Hawaii. Being born and raised here on Oahu, my passion for our ocean and the health and safety of our kids come first. We are a very active supporter for Surfrider Foundation, Sustainable Coastlines and also had the opportunity to provide our sunscreen for all participants at beach cleanups as well.
We love to educate and spread awareness where ever we go. Our kids are our biggest sunscreen advocates as they are well informed on the damage that chemical based sunscreens have on our reef and bodies.
