The Green Room Surf School & Shop is a small, family run, Irish Surf Association approved surf school and eco surf shop in Lahinch, Co. Clare. The Green Room was established in 2000 and is situated a stones throw from the Blue Flag beach of Lahinch, at the heart of Ireland’s Wild Atlantic Way. We are open 7 days a week, all day, and provide a wide range of surf, sup and bodyboard lessons to suit all ages and abilities.
Our aim is simple, to help create a more sustainable surfing industry. The ocean is our playground, we want to preserve it and promote its well-being.
We hope to reduce our surfing communities environmental impact by inspiring new surfers to engage in more sustainable surfing practices, and by promoting technology and practices that reflect our commitment to protect the ocean.
The Green Room Surf Shop does this by offering responsibly sourced merchandise, raising environmental awareness through educational events, and taking a proactive approach in protecting the ocean, so that future generations will also be graced with moments of connection with nature.
