Our business began in a basement as a way to help parents gain knowledge and access to cloth diapers without being subjected to hours of online searches, ordering blindly online, and trial and error. Initially by appointment only, The Little Seedling quickly out grew the basement and in 2006 moved to its first retail location on Jackson Road in Ann Arbor. To meet the growing demand, we hired the first of many moms: Amy, Kerry and Susan. Our initial idea of parents serving parents as a business model has remained true.
Currently, the staff includes SEVEN Child Passenger Safety Technicians to help parents choose and use their children’s car seats properly. The Little Seedling still does a Cloth Diapering Workshop the first Saturday ofeach month (Please See our Store Calendar for exact dates and times) and the moms that work at The Little Seedling still often bring their children to work with them.
Though the business has grown, the original mission is still the driving force of The Little Seedling: Providing families with the products they need and access to the information they are searching for.
