Refund Policy

This refund policy covers the special instances in which Green Me Locally Inc. may in its discretion provide refunds, and is part of the terms agreement. Use of the terms “we” and “us” in this refund policy means Green me Locally. By using the Green Me Locally site, you are accepting this refund/cancellation policy. If you do not agree to the refund policy, please do not use the site.

Green Me Locally may update its refund policy at any time by posting a revised refund policy on the site, and/or sending information regarding the policy change to the email address you provide to Green Me Locally. Please be aware that you are responsible for regularly reviewing the site to obtain timely notice of such changes. You shall be deemed to have accepted such policy updates by continuing the use of the site or your registered membership account after such a change has been posted.

There are two types of refunds that Green Me Locally provides for: First Time Advertising Purchases and First Time Membership Directory Purchases. Refunds are credited to your bank account within 14 days of the authorized refund date. The following is our refund policy for each type:

First Time Advertising Purchases:
The first time you purchase an advertisement via the site is a “First Time Purchase.” You must read all of the details provided for the applicable advertising zone and be sure that you fully understand what you are purchasing – including but not limited to the price, location on the website, number of ads sold in that zone, whether or not the ads rotate and whether or not you already have an ad in that same zone. If you wish to request a refund, you must notify us of your request within 24 hours of making your first time purchase. We will consider such a request on a case-by-case basis if your first time purchase meets the following criteria:

  • You purchased the wrong ad size by accident
  • The publisher changed the location of the advertisement on its website during your purchase

Membership Directory:
Business directory memberships are sold through the site for a period of 365 days. Once you have submitted your business directory listing and is live on the site for 24 hours or more, it is considered non-refundable. If you made an error and it is within 24 hours of making the purchase, we will review your claim on a case by case basis. If it is determined that you should receive a refund, we will credit your full purchase amount back within 14 days of the authorized refund date.

How to request consideration for a refund
Simply send just an email to info@greenmelocally.com with the following details:

  • Company name
  • Advertisement title or membership directory name
  • The email address on your account
  • The reasons why you would like us to consider a refund.

Green Me Locally will consider granting refunds that are requested in the above stated timeframes and that meet the applicable criteria, and will grant refunds at its reasonable discretion. Nothing herein grants an obligation by Green Me Locally to grant a refund.
