At the start of nearly every great recipe is prepping your food with dicing, chopping, peeling, or slicing of fresh ingredients. Join Scott McInnes for a free demo class on the fundamentals of knife skills. Whether you are just starting out or if you would like to sharpen your knife skills in the kitchen all may join this demo. The material covered in the class will help you choose the right knife for the job, safety when using knives, care of knives, and making food prep faster and more enjoyable.
Scott McInnes began cooking at a young age, encouraged by his mother who wanted her kids to be able to take care of themselves, and started cooking professionally at The Colonnade in 1986. He then attended The Culinary Institute of America in 1992.
Participants can enjoy a small salad made from the ingredients they learn to prep!
