WHY:
Money from the Earth Day Mount Dora event goes to purchase and plant trees!

“It’s the little things citizens do. That’s what will make the difference. My little thing is planting trees.” ~Wangari Maathai, founder of the Green Belt Movement, 2004 Nobel Peace Prize Laureate

“When people care about the trees, it extends care to themselves and the community. We should always plant trees, and more importantly; we should care for the trees we have.”
~Andrea Burr, founder, Mount Dora Friends of the Environment
