The Energy Committee of the Town of Durham, NH invites you to our third annual National Drive Electric Week event held in conjunction with Durham Day, the town’s annual celebration with free food, drink, kayak demonstrations, boat rides, and much, much more.
CHARGING YOUR EV IN DURHAM: Vehicles needing to charge up are welcome to charge for free all weekend at our dual dedicated Level 2 ChargePoint EV charging parking spots in the Pettee Brook Municipal Lot, Pettee Brook Lane, Durham, NH 03824. A third charging station is available at the Durham Public Library, 49 Madbury Road.
We invite Electric Vehicle owners to register for the event and bring their vehicles during the EV pre-event parking and meet and greet period (11:30 AM – 12:30 PM). Once parked in a meadow in an impressive car show formation, EV drivers are encouraged to explore the other Durham Day activities in addition to discussing and demonstrating their vehicles to attend. A free BBQ lunch will be served.
Chevrolet, BMW, Nissan, Tesla, and other dealers are likely to have electric vehicles and offer free test drives depending a bit on available inventory. If you ever want to feel the power, handling, and emissions free fun of driving an all-electric car, now is your chance!
