Our sunglasses are handcrafted from durable Bamboo and hardwoods such as maple, ebony and Zebrawood. All of the natural materials used are organic, renewable and free from harmful or toxic elements. Because Grown eyewear is made from bamboo or wood, each pair has a completely unique grain pattern, and no two pairs are identical. Our resources come only from ethically sourced and managed forests which are bound by the sustainable forestry management standards of the FSC. As a standard, all Grown wooden eyewear comes with premium stainless steel spring hinges and European standard (CE) UV 400 (100% UVA/UVB) Polarized lenses. On top of this we back our product with a 100 day warranty and 180 day accident coverage –

Mission
To design and craft Original and sustainable Wooden Eyewear that looks great and ‘does good’. Inspired by the selfless acts of Australian Eye Surgeon Fred Hollows, we created a socially responsible business model that allows us to do what we love while redistributing profits towards funding meaningful and life-changing efforts. Though we started our working with Fred Hollows Foundation, we currently support WIRES, and SEVA Canada.
