Urban Habitat creates habitats in urban environments to sustain species of plants and animals that otherwise face extinction. We specialize in rare and endangered species and biodiversity in all residential, commercial and municipal landscapes.
Owner, Howard Tonkin founded Urban Habitat to restore biodiversity to the urban setting and protect rare and endangered species from extinction.
His projects include restoring canal banks, rewilding residential properties, and designing pollinator gardens for businesses and communities. Howard’s life’s work is to use cities as a force for ecological restoration and reconnect people to places.
