Are the things you plant growing to their full potential? Are you buying your dirt or just planting in whatever covers your yard? This workshop will give you tools to create a fertile growing medium in which to plant fruits and vegetables and enjoy the high quality, fresh-picked produce that you have been craving.
Here are just a few of the questions to be answered:
• Why is homemade dirt the best medium to grow food in?
• What are the best ingredients for building great garden soil?
• What about seaweed, pine needles, kitchen waste, etc.?
• How do our local weather, sand, tree roots, and worms impact my soil?
Join Nathan Levy in his St. Petersburg demonstration garden and learn how to make REAL dirt with readily available, free materials. You’ll leave knowing why “the best dirt is homegrown” and your only remaining question will be “What do I plant first?”
