This event is part of the  5th annual National Drive Electric Week, an opportunity to promote the many benefits of plug-in vehicles.  Our event will consist of tail-gating and displaying electric vehicles already owned by Kauai residents.  Rides will be offered to people interested in this technology.

The Mayor of Kauai has agreed to proclaim September 12th through 20th National Drive Electric Week.  The official Proclamation will occur on Wednesday, September 9th at 11:30 am in the County Building rotunda.  This is very exciting for us!  The Mayor’s office has given us permission to invite whomever we wish to this event, which gives us an excellent media opportunity.
