Marine Biology Discussion and Big Blue Live Screening Event

Please join WEDU PBS and our community partners for a free interactive and educational evening in celebration of the final episode of BIG BLUE LIVE at the Tampa Theatre on Wednesday, September 2.

6 p.m. – Doors open, and guests will have an opportunity to experience interactive displays and meet area scientists and professionals from the marine biology community.

6:45 p.m. – Panel discussion moderated by Dr. Shannon McQuaig, host of WEDU Quest. Panelists will include local experts on Tampa Bay’s ecosystem:

  • Dr. Jacqueline Dixon, Dean, College of Marine Science, University of South Florida
  • Margo McKnight, VP of Biological Operations,The Florida Aquarium
  • Peter A. Clark, Founder and President of Tampa Bay Watch

8 p.m. – Screening of the LIVE broadcast of the third and final episode of BIG BLUE LIVE on the big screen.

Tara LaSalla
