Help us celebrate “Clean Energy For All” with Electric Vehicles on display, Solar Energy information, new technologies, hands-on activities, refreshments and music by the “Lo Amps!”. The LSU HyperLoop team will also be on hand to explain their take on Elon Musk’s super fast alternative travel: “Passengers traveling via Hyperloop would board magnetically levitating pods moved by electric propulsion.” https://techcrunch.com/2017/07/20/elon-musk-says-he-has-verbal-okay-to-build-multi-state-underground-hyperloop/

And, for EV owners, learn how you can charge your vehicles at Abita Springs’ new Tesla-sponsored charging station!

The Trailhead Museum will be open for visitors to learn about the unique history of the area.
Co-sponsored by the Town of Abita Springs, DOE’s Clean Fleets program, Honey Island Sierra Club and ACES, the local advisory committee for Abita’s Ready For 100 campaign (http://www.sierraclub.org/ready-for-100).

See our Abita Springs Ready For 100 FaceBook page at https://www.facebook.com/AbitaIsReadyFor100/?ref=br_rs

Join us to learn and be fascinated by the potential and the possibilities as Abita Springs leads the way in Louisiana to an alternative energy future!
