Becoming a Certified Natural Health Professional (CNHP)

cnhp I love learning about natural health. Now that I have a family, it’s even more important to me. Not only learning about how to make your own items like skin care or home remedies, but how foods effect our body and how connected we are to everything around us. I was excited to find out about the CNHP courses that are available right in my area. They offer the ability to take one course at a time and after the completion of 5 designated courses, you receive your CNHP certificate. There is continuing education available in order to maintain certification status.

I recently took the weekend course, Body Systems. The course covered the digestive, nervous, circulatory, glandular, urinary, respiratory and the structural systems.  We were given a comprehensive manual that I will be sure to use for years and our instructor, Judy Masters, was a walking encyclopedia of natural health information.  In the class was everyone from moms to fitness trainers to nurses and health food store owners. It was a great mix of personalities and wonderful to hear the different questions and concerns that come up in the different professions.

I am looking forward to the next round of courses. If you are in the Tampa area, I hope you can join me!
