Pam's Workshop

In the Andean Shamanic Tradition

Sunday, December 21, Winter Solstice, 1:00-2:30pm

Come join in this Shamanic Ceremony to bring “Ayni” – right relationship and balance – into our lives. To honor Mother Earth – “Pachamama” – and all beings. Together we will create a beautiful prayer bundle “Despacho” filled with Kintus (prayers) and offerings of gratitude for all that Pachamama provides to sustain our life here on Earth.

The Despacho is used to cleanse heavy energies and is then offered to Spirit through fire. Participate in this powerful ritual, supported in sacred space by the ancient lineage of the Andean Shaman. Feel shifts occur as your luminous energy field is cleansed, and your being comes into alignment with the Earth and the Heavens, allowing you to walk in more freedom and beauty, with a greater connection to Mother Earth and all of Life.

This workshop will be lead by Pamela Paris who offers rich opportunities to learn how to create ceremony in your life. She is a medicine woman initiated in the lineage of the Q’ero, Andean shaman and trained through The Four Winds Society.  She practices Shamanic energy healing and the ancient ways for use in the modern world.

Experience “Ayni”  A’Ho!

Suggested Donation: $20, Shared with the Farm who is continually fostering love for the Earth

Sweetwater Farm

Sweetwater Organic Community Farm was established in 1995 as a nonprofit community-supported urban organic farm and environmental education center in Tampa, Florida. We are located on 6 acres of suburban property along the Sweetwater Creek in Tampa’s Town ‘n’ Country neighborhood, in Hillsborough County, Florida. We operate a Community Supported Agriculture (CSA) Membership program, Sweetwater Sunday Farmers’ Market and Music Series open to the public, educational field trip programs for visiting groups, farm tours, workshops, outdoor movies, seasonal events, volunteer opportunities and more! Through our hands-on programs, visitors of all ages discover the wonders of nature, explore ecological interconnections, practice appropriate land stewardship and master sustainable agriculture techniques. Our farm provides the freshest possible organic vegetables and herbs for hundreds of Tampa Bay residents each year. At Sweetwater, community members come together to grow and enjoy fresh organic food, acquire sustainable living skills, support local agriculture, enjoy nature, make new friends and be a part of the community.
