Get inspired and meet your neighbors as you join us for a leisurely ride to visit with some local compost enthusiasts and tour some of our city’s composting sites including a city park community compost project and a community-engaged backyard compost project. Gain new perspectives on creative ways that you can help foster community and grow the composting culture in our region.

The tour will meet at the North entrance to the Westfield Mall (near Lucky’s Market), once gathered we will discuss safety and then begin the ride.

Stops include Arlington Park, Community Day School, and the Novus Street House. Our route will wind along bike paths and through neighborhoods as we explore our local community between stops.

Cost: Free with your own bike, or $15 to rent a bike.

Tara LaSalla
