This year’s 6 annual event in Sonoma County will be at the newly remodeled Courthouse Square in downtown Santa Rosa. Come take free test drives in the latest electric vehicles, talk to owners about driving electric, and check out local vendors and non-profits showcasing all things environmental & sustainable.
Plug In America, the Sierra Club, and the Electric Auto Association have teamed up to organize plug-in parades, tailpipe-free tailgate parties, test-drives and many other grassroots activities that promote driving electric through National Drive Electric Week events.
The goal of National Drive Electric Week is to get owners of plug-in cars together with the general public so that the general public can learn from the owners what plug-in cars are like in the real world. We hope that this will lead more people to think about working a plug-in vehicle into a future purchase.
