Join us for a “weed walk” to learn about free food that grows wild, and easily, in Central Florida. Many common “weeds” are edible, medicinal, useful as first-aid or crafts, and beneficial in the garden. See and smell how to identify them safely and discover their generosity!

Willow LaMonte is a folk herbalist, wildcrafter, and long-time organic gardener. She is a member of the American Herbalist Guild, the Florida Herb Society, and United Plant Savers. Amidst oak trees in Valrico she grows a small organic herb nursery and botanical gardens, Willow Herbal Delight Gardens, using Permaculture methods. She loves to dream in Neolithic.
