In this conversation, we’ll shed the light of mindfulness on how we can heal and transform our way of life and be better caretakers of our shared environment. Please join the dialogue as we explore together the latest on climate change and how mindful living can enhance our personal and collective response.
Objectives:
- Brief summary of mindfulness as a transformative practice
- Brief overview of the latest climate data and climate-action efforts including local ones
- Expand awareness of our consumption habits and discuss how we can live more simply and happily
- Examine our consumption of information and entertainment from the electronic media and consider how we can connect more directly with our world
- Explore personal and collective action to heal and restore our planet and our culture
