The Island President presents the personal story of President Mohamed Nasheed of the Maldives, a man confronting a problem greater than any other world leader has ever faced – the survival of his country and everyone in it.

This FREE event is open to USF students, faculty and the general public. Refreshments will be available in the lobby prior to the screening and the film will be followed by a panel-led discussion.

She holds true to one of Mahatma Gandhi's most famous principles: "Be the change you want to see in the world."
