Have you been told making yogurt is easy but never tried? We’ll walk through the steps, and also show you a similar process to make a traditional French white cheese. Participants will go home with a mason jar of proto-yogurt and a cheesecloth of proto-“fromage blanc.” *Please bring an insulated bag to keep the yogurt cultures happy and warm on the way home.*
The workshop is taught by the mother and daughter team of Beth Alden and Claire Drehmel. Daughter Beth was raised on homegrown veggies, Appalachian crafts, and recipes from the French countryside, and has been a longtime member of Sweetwater Farm.
