The future of farming is regenerative—and the Rainforest Alliance is taking bold steps to make that future a reality.

After years of research, field testing, and collaboration with farmers and companies, we have published the Rainforest Alliance Regenerative Agriculture Standard. This marks a major milestone for our organization: the introduction of a new certification seal alongside our iconic green frog.

To celebrate, we invite you to join our next Beneath the Canopy webinar, where we’ll explore the ins and outs of regenerative agriculture and how it can unlock a better world for people and nature. Santiago Gowland, CEO, will reflect on our key achievements in 2025—including the launch of our new standard—and share the goals guiding us into next year.

We’re also excited to welcome Rainforest Alliance Ambassador Ricky Echanique, a fifth-generation Ecuadorian farmer and CEO and Founder of MIKUNA. Ricky partners with Indigenous farmers to bring regenerative crops like chocho to global markets. Grown in the Sigchos region of Ecuador, chocho is the star ingredient in Ricky’s popular chocho plant protein powder

You’ll hear additional field-based perspectives on our new Regenerative Agriculture Standard from our Global Strategy Lead for Key Coffee Accounts, Maya Sermenoincluding stories from early adopters in the coffee sector who are already demonstrating measurable impact and innovation on the ground.

Together, we’ll explore what’s working, what’s emerging, and how collaborative alliances will continue to drive regenerative transformation in the years ahead.

Once you are registered, keep an eye on your email for a calendar hold and a reminder about the webinar’s Zoom link leading up to the event!
